Last Wednesday I had the honour to be part of this great event organised by Rickie Josen from YelpBrum at the Crescent Theatre. What a great venue and what a great night! As we arrived, there was literally a red carpet that gives you a little hint of what’s going to be.
After the red carpet, we were taken to the bar where the Yelpers were received by Rickie with goodie bags that, among other nice presents, included Brigadeiros by Miss Apple.
The guests then had a chance to taste more Brigadeiros while drinking their pink champagne. They also had amazing Tiffany’s themed mini cupcakes by Kiss Me Cupcakes. It was a pleasure to finally meet the two girls behind the business and it was great to see again Tim Wilson from IndieLove. Yelpers ladies could have their hair styled for the event by SGR Vintage Hair & Make Up. Check out photos in the gallery below.
I was delighted to be there to promote Miss Apple’s Sweets and Brigadeiros and was glad to know people enjoyed them. I also could watch for the first time (shame on me!) the classic movie “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” with my beloved husband, Marek (you can see us here! 8th collage). Remember? it was Lover’s Day in Brazil on the same day, so we had a date! Back to the movie, it has a Brazilian character which Holly Golightly, the main characther portraid by Audrey Hepburn, intends to merry. So Brazil is quite mentioned during the movie and it was a very nice surprise to me. That is why Brazilian Brigadeiros were essential for this event and Rickie was right to the point! Lovely!
